Return & Refund Policy

At Maceration, we take great care to ensure the quality of our perfumes. Since perfumes are personal care products, strict return rules apply.

1. No Returns on Opened Products

• For hygiene and safety reasons, perfumes cannot be returned or exchanged once opened, used, or tampered with.

2. Eligible Returns

Returns or replacements are accepted only if:

• You received the wrong product/fragrance.

• The product was damaged, leaking, or defective upon delivery.

3. Reporting an Issue

• Issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made beyond this period are not eligible.

• Customers must provide the order number, clear photos, and preferably an unboxing video as proof.

• Minor damage to the outer packaging that does not affect the perfume bottle is not covered under returns/refunds.

4. Refunds

• Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

• If refund to the original source is not possible due to technical reasons, we may issue a refund via UPI/bank transfer.

• Refunds are always made for the net order value paid (after discounts, if any).

5. Replacement Policy

• If the product qualifies, we will send a replacement bottle at no extra cost.

• If replacement stock is unavailable, a full refund will be issued instead.

6. Storage Conditions

• Perfumes must be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

• Maceration will not be responsible for damage caused by improper storage after delivery.
